The removal appointment takes minutes; the healing takes weeks — and healing is where great results are made. Whether you've had a mole removed or finished a laser session, the same principles decide whether skin settles smooth or leaves a mark.
Moist, covered, and unbothered
Wounds heal fastest in a moist, protected environment. That means healing balm, a clean covering, and hands off — no picking at scabs, no scrubbing, no "testing" the spot. Every picked scab restarts healing and raises scar risk.
- Keep the area moisturized with the balm we provide
- Cover with a fresh bandage for the first several days
- Never pick, scratch, or exfoliate a healing spot
- Sun protection is non-negotiable for 3 months
What normal healing looks like
Expect a small scab within days, lifting in 1–2 weeks, and pink new skin beneath. That pinkness is healthy — it fades over 4–12 weeks. If redness spreads, swelling grows, or healing stalls, call us: early attention fixes problems that patience cannot.
Once healed, silicone gel and daily SPF continue the work, softening any texture and blending tone. Most of our clients reach a finish even they can't find in the mirror — and the habits above are why.
